We've got a new local coming to PA!

The Miss South Central Pennsylvania Competition is being brought back by two long-time Miss America volunteers and supporters, Linda Bachman and Rachel (Henry) Mummert!

Linda Bachman has been a proud resident of the Hanover/Glenville area for 35 years and has dedicated the past 30 years to serving her community as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Urgent Care. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Nevada Miss Amazing, empowering and supporting girls and women with disabilities. Linda is also the proud mother of Miss Nevada 2025, Abigail Bachman, and has spent the past ten years providing support and encouragement throughout Abigail’s journey in the Miss America Organization.

Rachel (Henry) Mummert has been involved with the Miss Pennsylvania Organization for over 20 years. A native of Hanover, PA, she competed for 7 years and held several titles, including Miss York County 2005, before continuing her service as a judge, local board member, emcee, and production manager. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millersville University, works in Human Resources and Recruiting, and has been a lifelong entrepreneur who opened her own photography studio in 2014. Active in fighting food insecurity through New Hope Ministries of Pennsylvania, she also sits on the board of a local performing arts non-profit.

Thank you both for your incredible volunteer efforts to support young women's educational and leadership pursuits within the Miss America program.

Tonight, Pennsylvania chooses HOPE. 💛✨

Hope in the dreams that are big enough to scare you.
Hope in the work no one sees.
Hope in the purpose that keeps calling you forward.
And hope in what can happen when you believe that your moment is possible.

Stephanie, tonight you walk onto the Miss America finals stage, and we hope you know just how incredibly proud Pennsylvania is to have YOU representing us. 👑

We’ve watched the hours, the sacrifice, the preparation, and the heart you have poured into reaching this moment. We’ve watched you turn your own story into a reason for others to believe in brighter days ahead. And now, you get to carry that message onto one of the biggest stages in America.

So tonight, don’t chase the moment. Own it. You have earned your place in it. You are prepared for it. And you have an entire Commonwealth believing in you.

Whatever happens beneath those lights, you have already given us countless reasons to believe in you—and countless reasons to have HOPE.

Team PA loves you endlessly, Stephanie. We are SO PROUD of you. Now go show America the woman we’ve been so lucky to know. ❤️🤍💙

Here’s to HOPE. Here’s to Pennsylvania. And here’s to Stephanie. 👑🇺🇸✨ Let’s do this, PA!

No matter what happens when the lights come up tonight, you have already made Pennsylvania SO incredibly proud. The way you have represented our Commonwealth with grace, purpose, joy, and authenticity means more to us than any result ever could.
