We have had a couple of days (literally) to attempt resting and recooperating from this year's event. We would like to thank every single person that supported our event this year!
From behind the scenes, I personally would like to thank so many people who helped in both little ways and in ginormous ways! I really hope I do not forget anyone!!!
Kelly L, for helping to keep me calm and bringing peace even when you were not feeling well!
Bernie, for bringing Kelly and the overall support.
Jay & Jamie, for being there during the few meetings and bringing out the big blower to help with cleanup (and the much needed breakfast sammies). The generosity showed in donating everything earned for the readings you did during the event is so greatly appreciated. I also want to thank Jay for being one of the first people to step up and offer to do a presentation for us. Your support means more to me than I think you know.
Justin & Sam, thank you for showing up early and bringing me hazelnut coffee! I am so blessed to have you both in my life and coming along with my crazy ideas! I'm sorry I had to edit this because I realized I didn't mention you two! Your love, support & help means everything!
Jax, for showing up and bringing your leaf blower on clean up day, and then so generously coming to the venue the day before the event and blowing more leaves from the floor for us without even being asked.
Kelly & Michael, for donating snacks and water during clean up knowing you were unable to be there. On the day of our event, you both were so amazing with the kids crafts and activities! I am blessed to call you friends.
Jim & Lauralette, Tom & Tiffany, Kathy & Shadow, thank you all so much for your assistance with the ins and outs, twists and turns of the day! Without you all, it would be a much more hectic day! Your patience in figuring things out in our new venue was greatly appreciated. Also, special shout out to Tom for consistently bugging me to hydrate! ;)
Parker, you won't see this as you are too young for Facebook, but you deciding to stay at this event and not have Daddy pick you up at the end of his work day... made my Mommy heart so happy and full. Thank you for telling me all about the children's activities from your perspective and how much fun you had. I promise to also tell Kelly your ideas for next year.
Stacy & Michael, thank you for stepping up and offering the awesome presentations. They were thoroughly enjoyed from the feedback I have received so far. I am thankful you made the trek here to do them!
Scarlet, I am so appreciative of your willingness to work with us and be fire spinners at our event! I am sorry I didn't bring Farrah, but she is still too wild for me to bring while I am trying to run around and do all the things. I am definitely going to take you up on the offer of a workshop for next year!
Kelody Fey & Isidrous, you did such an amazing job with our main ritual. Thank you for stepping up and volunteering to do this. I appreciate you coming from further away to share with us.
Sue Anne, for being an ever present vendor and joining us at one of the planning meetings, I always appreciate your input! Loaning us the 10 x 20 tent was a wonderful add on. We ended up not needing the fans and extension cords, but I am grateful that they were there in case it got too hot.
Maugie, as ever, I am so thankful to have been vending beside your dedicated spot at Fairie Festival a few years back. I appreciate you giving me your thoughts on how the acoustics work in that venue and how to best handle those challenges. I wish I would have asked you!! Some of the logistics and sound would have definitely benefited from your insight, but now I know for next year!
Vendors, what can I say? I really don't know how we manage to get the best of the best at our event, but I am so glad you are all there! As I walked around, I just marvelled at the variety of items offered. I did try to place everyone where I felt they would fit best, so I truly hope it all worked well.
For those attended the 13th Annual York County Pagan Pride Day Festival, thank you. From the very bottom of my heart, I appreciate our community and how it always pulls together.
If you want to be more involved, please feel free to comment on this post or message the page. I will be working on an attendee survey later this week for those who did attend.
We are aware that parking was a bit of a challenge for some, as well as a few GPS's not taking them to the park itself. We will be working on alternative parking lots and definitely signage for next year!
All of that to say this... THANK YOU!
