Head to Tavern On III in West Greenwich tomorrow, August 22, for a BBQ Competition & Festival benefiting Veterans Inc. and the veterans we serve!

Our Employment & Training MA team had an incredible opportunity to visit the Carpenters Union Training Facility in Millbury! 🦺

During the visit, they worked with HR to create a referral and onboarding pipeline for Veterans, toured several classes, connected with instructors, and met Veterans currently enrolled in their programs.

We’re excited to strengthen partnerships with our local trades programs and help connect Veterans with incredible apprenticeship opportunities and rewarding careers!

Thanks to Treasurer Emily Codner and the members of the New England Promotional Products Association (NEPPA), several carloads of donations were collected yesterday. We’re grateful for their generosity, which will help support our Veterans Food Pantry tomorrow!

Today, on Purple Heart Day, we honor the courageous service members who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation. Their bravery, resilience, and selfless service will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful to all Purple Heart recipients for their sacrifice and commitment to protecting our freedoms.💜

On Wednesday, we had a group of rising seniors from Saint John's High School join us for a day of service while completing their Leadership Institute Summer Program. This year marks its 49th year and we are lucky to have these students help us inventory and organize Veteran resources and donations.

We are grateful for St. John's support every year and wish these students the best during their upcoming senior year!
