Greek Independence Day Parade Weekend

Flag Raising - Friday, 4/24 at 3:00 pm
Join us tomorrow at Worcester City Hall to raise the Greek flag with Mayor Joseph Petty. This is a great way to kick off our Independence Day Parade weekend!

Independence Parade - Sunday, 4/26 at 1:00 pm
A bus will be transporting club members to the parade in Boston. The bus will leave the club at 10:30am and return at 6pm for prime rib dinner.

We are excited to announce that the Worcester city hall has accepted our club’s request to raise the Greek flag to honor the 1821 Independence Day. We encourage the Greek community and its friends to attend in great numbers to elevate it to an annual event. It is an opportunity for us to showcase our culture, our history and honor our fallen heroes. So, be there, be Greek, be proud!!🇬🇷💪

We’ve partnered with the City of Worcester to light up the Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Bridge for Greek Independence Day this year. Take a drive into Shrewsbury, MA this Wednesday evening to see the colors of our flag shining bright!

Κάθε χρόνο ο σύλλογος (σύμφωνα με το καταστατικό) τον Ιανουάριο ή Φεβρουάριο έχει την πρώτη ετήσια γενική συνέλευση. Όπου η διοίκηση μας παρουσιάζει τον απολογισμό της περασμένης χρονιάς και τον προϋπολογισμό της επόμενης. Καθώς επίσης και την γιορτή της βασιλόπιτας.
Πέρασε ο μαρτης και πουθενά δεν ακούστηκε τίποτα για γενική συνέλευση. Ακούσαμε για παρελάσεις για γεύματα στις επιτροπές, αλλά για τίποτα για γενική συνέλευση.
Μήπως κάποιος από την διοίκηση δώσει μια εξήγηση?
