Yet another fun reason to join us at The Future is BOLD: our time capsule!

We have been filling our time capsule since it made its debut at last October’s alumnae reunion, and the 110th Year Finale on October 29 will be your final chance to contribute before it’s sealed away for the next 20 years. We’d love to include your words or memorabilia in the capsule. ❤️ So grab your tickets, celebrate 110 years with us, and leave a little something for the future.

We are smiling an extra proudly here on this because the smiley face and this celebratory day was created right here in Worcester, MA! 😊

For more than 110 years, Girls Inc. of Worcester has been bringing smiles to girls’ faces by offering programs that help them grow into strong, smart, and bold leaders. Here are just a few of the smiles we’ve captured lately! 😁

So much of this joy is made possible because of the support of our community! We invite you to join us at The Future Is BOLD: The 110th Year Finale on Thursday, October 29th to celebrate 110 years of positive impact, and help create even more reasons for them to smile. Ticket link in bio!

We’re getting ready for another incredible event, but first, we’re taking a look back! Our last event was filled with so many memories that made the day special, including awards and key speakers.

As we build up to this year’s event, we are reminded of just how much we have to celebrate. Results from our most recent survey of participants show that 95.8% of girls at Girls Inc. of Worcester believe they have opportunities to create and build things, and 98.6% believe they will graduate from high school. We can’t wait to gather our community again and show the other ways we have positively impacted girls in Worcester and beyond. In the meantime, stay tuned for more throwbacks and grab your tickets at the link in our bio!

We’re so excited to officially celebrate the launch of the WooFridge at Girls Inc. of Worcester!

Join us for the Grand Opening tomorrow, Friday, September 25, at 4:00 p.m. at 125 Providence Street.

This free community resource is here to help neighbors access food and essential items, including a clothing pantry, with dignity and without barriers. All are welcome!

We are incredibly grateful to the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and United Way of Central Massachusetts for the funding that made this project possible. Thank you as well to WooFridges for partnering with us to make this resource available to our community!

Together, we are helping ensure that Worcester neighbors have access to the care and support they need.

Alumnae Reunion Update: Postponed

Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this Saturday’s Girls Inc. of Worcester Alumnae Reunion at Camp Kinneywood. While we are sad to have had to make this call, the safety and security of our Girls Inc. community will always be our priority.

We know that many of our alumnae and families were planning to travel in just for this event, and felt it is best to make this decision as early as possible to give everyone time to adjust their plans.

We hope to reschedule the reunion for the spring and will share additional details as they develop. In the meantime, we wish everyone a warm, dry, and most importantly, a safe week ahead.

United Way Day of Action was a total success over at Girls Inc. of Worcester!🙌

We want to give a heartfelt thank-you to the amazing volunteers who spent the day at Girls Inc. of Worcester rolling up their sleeves and helping us clean, organize, inventory supplies, and improve the spaces that support our girls and programs throughout the year.

Your time and energy has helped us create more welcoming, better spaces for our staff and participants.
We are also incredibly grateful to United Way of Central Mass for bringing our community together and connecting local volunteers with opportunities to make a tangible impact. Thank you for helping us continue inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold!
