The Dads Care Two page is to extend our efforts to overcome cultural & societal misconceptions placed on Fathers. It is to counter the biases within the child welfare system by supporting men & their families with communal resources, educating men with the necessary skills for successful parenting, & developing strong men to be great Fathers, through extensive training & powerful programing. This

Join us for Praise on the Construction Site, a community celebration of faith, literacy and the future of Wichita's children.

On September 21, churches from across Wichita will gather at the future home of the Storytime Village Literacy Center for an evening of praise, prayer, worship and community. Together, we'll pray over this transformative project, tour the site and celebrate the impact it will have on generations of children and families.

Understanding the Child in Need of Care Court System

What happens when a child enters the Child in Need of Care (CINC) court system? And how can each of us better understand our role in supporting children and families?

Gathered is hosting a half-day workshop bringing together attorneys, social workers, CASAs, and community members who want to better understand how the CINC system works and how we can work together within it.

We’ll explore the process, how the pieces fit together, and the many ways people can get involved.

Attorneys can earn CLE credit while learning alongside others who care about children and families. The day will also include free lunch for the first 50 RSVPS and a panel discussion with people who work within and alongside the system.

You don’t have to be an attorney to be part of this conversation.

Come learn. Ask questions. Build connections. Find your place in the work.
