We Need Our Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST Daily
Hebrews 3:12-13
(In Context with Hebrews 3)

As I found myself in my morning studies not too long ago, I found myself lingering over Hebrews 3:12-13, here is what those verses have to say :> Watch out brothers and sisters, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the LIVING GOD.

But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so none of you is hardened by sin’s deception. (CSB)
In verse 12 of Hebrews 3, the writer is warning believers in CHRIST, who are called “brothers” and "sisters" to watch out for evil. The fact of the matter is that evil is always lurking around somewhere. So as believers in CHRIST, we must always be on guard, so as to not have this evil unbelieving type of heart that turns us away from, and stripes our desire to pursue after GOD. Then you get to verse 13 of Hebrews 3, where we are through the bible, GOD’S HOLY WORD to encourage each other daily, while it is still called “today.” So whatever day you are in, you are called to encourage your brothers and sisters in CHRIST today, and if it is the LORD will, tomorrow as well.

So husbands you should be leading and encouraging your wives daily in the LORD, open your bibles together, and wives if your husband isn’t doing that for you, you should ask them why not? But wives you should also be encouraging your husbands daily through the WORD as well. You should constantly be pushing each other closer to GOD, and in doing so, it will bring your family closer together. Then pour into your children daily as well by encouraging them in and through the WORD. It does not matter how old or young they are.

To those of you who are single or widowed, find brothers and sisters in CHRIST that you can do life together. So meaning people you can be encouraged by, and also encourage through the scriptures. Too often American Christianity in regards to a gathering happens only on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights, but should be a daily thing. Why? Just look at the end of verse 13 of Hebrews 3. Here is what it says. …” So none of you are hardened by sin’s deception” (CSB)

My prayer: Oh, FATHER we just submit ourselves before YOU, and ask that YOU would help us to do as YOUR WORD says.That we would be a people who would find delight in doing life together each day by encouraging one another in and through YOUR WORD. LORD my heart grieves for the fact that it seems that nowadays the only time the WORD is really talked about is on a Sunday morning or a Wednesday night. LORD let that not be so.
Light our hearts on fire for YOU, and YOUR HOLY WORD. LORD help us to do life together daily, even on those days that might be hard so that none of us become hardened by sin’s deception as YOUR WORD talked about in Hebrews 3:13. I pray all this in THE MIGHTY NAME of JESUS, Amen!

My dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST, don't make excuses for why you can't gather with your fellow brothers and sisters in CHRIST outside of a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening service, but rather make time to seek after the LORD as much as you can to pursue after the LORD, lifting each other up in prayer, and encourging one aother by diving deeply in the WORD together in person! May our hearts' passion be for the things of the LORD, not the mere things of this world!

There is only one thing that I will say today! HAPPY REFORMATION DAY! I definitely won’t say what the world calls today, but rather again I will say HAPPY REFORMATION DAY from the rooftops! October 31st 1517!

Over the past weeks here in America there has been several tragedies that have made the national news if you will, but sadly there are so many tragedies that don’t even make any kind of news, but yet are happening each and everyday.

So my message, and what my heart burdens to see more of is prayer. Pray that GOD’S will would be done through all of this, pray that people would turn to CHRIST instead of violent acts, pray for your own heart that it does not get bitter towards those that don’t know CHRIST.

Pray that instead that the LORD would use you where you are at to share CHRIST with those who don’t know CHRIST.

And please I can’t stress this enough, pray for our youth!! They might not say much on things, but this tragedies hit them in a deep way, and internally are wrestling through how all these could happen, so again my dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST, I can’t stress this enough, pray for our youth!!

Here is a thought for today to think about:

Are you feasting daily on the WORD OF GOD, or are you barely even nibbling on it? Treating it like food you dislike?

Don’t just give lip service to being a Christian! Feast daily on the HOLY WORD OF GOD! Let your heart yearn for GOD! Don’t just be a so-called Sunday Christian! No!!! Be a biblically grounded GOD seeking Christian! There are too many churches that don’t stand on the very WORD OF GOD, and their congregations are deceived because the congregants don’t feast on the WORD for themselves!

Different obstacles will come up in life, and what matters most is how you react. As believers in CHRIST, it can be so easy to run in the other direction other than CHRIST because it can be the fleshly response, but to my dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST, run to CHRIST, as fast as you can, when you face those challenging obstacles that life throws your way. I know it is easier said than done at times, and to that I would say reach out to a brother or sister in CHRIST for help, or even, of course, your pastor.

Don't try to face those challenging obstacles you might be facing by yourself; after all, you are not called to be an island unto yourself. Sadly, we live in a culture now where too many try to walk out the Christian life by themselves, but the reality is that we need each other as the body of CHRIST. So don't try to be the person who is trying to walk alone, reach out to a brother or sister in CHRIST for help, maybe you need to be reminded of what GOD'S WORD has to say in general, or even praying together, but don't walk alone.

Also, we need to be a people who pray more together, and I will simply leave it at that. Maybe I will say more about that at some point. Nonetheless, keep fighting the good fight, and keep seeking after the LORD in all that you do.
