For Anestacia Marston, a Shocker Pride Scholarship is more than financial support. It’s an investment in her future and the difference she hopes to make in the lives of others.

Anestacia is passionate about advocating for marginalized communities and is studying psychology with a concentration in social work. During her time at Wichita State University, she’s volunteered throughout the Wichita community, founded a chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is preparing for a future in community psychology.

“It’s life-changing,” Anestacia says of her scholarship. “What may seem like a simple act of support can create opportunities that last a lifetime.”
