More than the game. Faith, leadership, and community at Washburn University. 🏈📖

Every Monday evening, the Washburn University Football Influence Council meets with FCA Topeka Area Rep Chad Parks for leadership and character training. Each year, the Washburn coaching staff selects 18 players to serve as team leaders.

Every Wednesday, the Washburn University All Sport Huddle gathers for in depth Bible study and prayer. Student athletes come together from every program on campus including football, volleyball, men’s and women’s golf, cross country, track, softball, baseball, dance, and men’s and women’s basketball.

Different sports. Shared community. Growing together.

👻⚽ Costumes, kickball, and community fun!
Neodesha Bluestreak FCA’s Costume Kickball tradition brings high school and middle school students together for a game that’s more about laughter than the score!
Enjoy hot dogs, chips, cookies, drinks, and a live DJ. Elementary kids in costume can join the fun with a run around the bases and candy at home plate! 🍬
Bring a lawn chair and cheer them on. Thank you to Wilson Medical Center and our local business partners for helping feed the students!

An FCA Huddle brings two or more coaches or athletes together to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
From Friends University to WSU, we’re grateful for the community and connections built through Huddles!

NEWTON — Fields of Faith is TONIGHT! 🙌
Due to weather, we’re moving inside to the gym!
Join us for worship led by Pastor Kyle from Grace Community Church and a message from Nick Bonner, who serves in college ministry at Bethel College while interning at The Gathering. Students will also share their testimonies on what God has done in their lives.
Bring a friend and come ready for a night of faith, worship, and encouragement!
