General Meeting tomorrow, 1:30 at the River Lawn Church, 2nd & Waco. Bring your sneakers from the sneaker making class. We will be sharing information about a new Community Service group we are starting. Of course we will have goodies to eat. Wanita will have the Take a Chance table set up, so you may win a valuable prize. We will show off what we have been making since the June meeting. We also want to talk about coming in early on the day of our General meeting and sew. That would be more bang for your buck for those that drive in from out of town. OH my, so much going on! and I almost forgot, sign up for Hospce Gown Sewing in September and let's order more soles for more sneakers. WOW, I wonder what I am missing?

Hey members, we are a couple of weeks out for our next general meeting. Please bring your tote bags for the community service project. Any size will work. See you August 4th. Also on that day we are taking orders for additional soles from the sneaker class.

Serger neighborhood group is making decorative pillows just in time for Independence Day. What’s so amazing about these is you can create a pillow cover for any season or occasion and have only one pillow form of any size. Possibilities are endless, designs can be on the front and back of the pillow. use your embroidery machine with a design on the front. Make pin tucks, ruffles, make them frilly or make them plain. This would be great practice for heavyweight thread using a cover stitch machine too.
These pillows are so easy to make and can also be made on a regular sewing machine.

Hello ladies, Don't forget this coming Tuesday is our next General Meeting and we are having a Garage Sale!! Bring your not so loved fabric, notions, patterns and sewing related items. Please have your items measured and marked with a price.

Also this will be the last day to sign up for the sneaker shoe class.
