221 days until Miss Kansas! 👑💚

For those who are new here, I’m Madison Glover, a marketing student at the University of Kansas, and your Miss Wichita 2027!

I’ve always believed that if you want to be Miss Kansas, you should already be doing the work of Miss Kansas before you ever wear the crown.

In just over a month as Miss Wichita, I’ve already traveled 700+ miles across Kansas, and there’s still SO much I want to do!

A huge part of that is growing my community service initiative, For Her, By Her. I’m passionate about domestic violence awareness, financial independence, and encouraging young women to pursue higher education. I want more women to know that they have options, that their goals are worth pursuing, and that their circumstances don’t have to determine their futures.

This year, I want to bring For Her, By Her into more classrooms, work alongside women’s organizations across the state, and host more workshops focused on financial literacy and the opportunities available through higher education. Most importantly, I want to reach women who could genuinely benefit from these conversations and resources.

I still have 221 days until I step onto the Miss Kansas stage, and I plan on making the most of every single one of them!

Because at the end of the day, I don’t want to wait until I’m Miss Kansas to make a difference across Kansas. I want to be doing that right now.

Lots of miles, big goals, and a whole lot of work ahead. Let’s get to it!
