🎃 The countdown is officially ON! 👻
Our Tricks or Treasures event is just around the corner, and we’re looking for our amazing community to help make Halloween extra special for local kids! 🍬✨
We’re looking for about 75 trunk hosts to decorate their trunks and pass out candy on Saturday, October 31 from 11 AM–2 PM. Whether you’re a family, individual, organization, or business, we’d love to have you join us!
🎃 Trunk hosting is just $10!
This small fee helps us get a firm commitment from our trunk hosts so we can plan accordingly. We’re also using a portion of those fees to help offset some of the candy costs for our trunk hosts, because we know providing treats for hundreds of kids can add up quickly!
That said, please still plan to bring candy or treasures to share at your trunk! 🍭🎁 We want to have lots of fun options for kids, and treasures can be things like bubbles, bouncy balls, stickers, small toys, toothbrushes, or other kid friendly goodies!
And this year, we’re expecting 700+ kids to come out and celebrate with us! 👻🍬
🍭 We also need candy sponsors! We’re looking for local businesses and community members who would be willing to help us purchase candy or sponsor the cost of candy for the event. Every donation helps us make sure we have plenty of treats for everyone.
🤝 Nonprofits & community organizations, we want you, too! We’re inviting other nonprofits to host a trunk and share resources, information, and support with families attending the event.
Our goal is to create a welcoming space where all kids, from all walks of life, can come together, have fun, and access resources that can support them and their families. 🖤
With 700+ kids expected, we need our community to make this event amazing! 🎃🍬
