Balfour Park is expanding for the Spokane Valley community!

Come out to the park this Saturday, August 29, at 3:30 p.m. to join us for a ribbon cutting and be some of the first to experience the new basketball courts, pickleball courts, sports lighting, and sound system.

Plus, you can stick around after the ribbon cutting to enjoy the Cops & Kids Car Show from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Meet our Spokane Valley Police Department officers, explore the car show, and enjoy kids activities, food trucks, and music from a local DJ.

Thanks to all the volunteers this morning, 3 additional Dominator nets were rolled out at both Mission and Comstock parks. Each park now has 10 Dominators!
Big thanks to Hank E Lunsford for picking up the Mission nets and building them at 5am this morning! 🤯

Hank has the Mission Nets to deliver Fri morning.
Craig has the Comstock ones also for delivery Fri morning.

Please come help assemble at either site in the morning if you’re able.

Craig will be at Comstock at 7:30am.
Hank will be at Mission at 7am.

A 5mm allen wrench is also helpful.

Update #2: Dominator Nets are being Delivered to PowerPBC now (7/9 @2:30p). Anybody able to pick them up today? Or tomorrow? and transport to either Comstock or Mission tomorrow morning?
Anybody available to help assemble tomorrow morning at either Comstock or Mission?

Update: Expected Dominator net delivery by end of day 7/9.

When they arrive (at the back parking lot of PowerPBC), we could use help with transportation and assembly. 3 to Mission and 3 to Comstock.
Once on site, 2 volunteers per net probably takes about a half hour. All help is appreciated.

Please Reply below if you have availability Friday morning for transportation, assembly or both.

3 more Dominator Pro nets coming to Comstock and 3 more coming to Mission. Expected delivery July 8th. We could use some volunteers to help with assembly. Please reply below if you have some availability on July 8th or 9th.

The broken Dominator has been repaired and re-deployed out to Mission Park!

Two new Dominator nets need to be assembled at Corbin Park tomorrow morning if anyone has some free hands. See the post on Playtime Scheduler for more information.

The replacement part for the Dominator net at Mission has arrived if anyone wants to meet Craig later this evening to unload all the pieces and reassemble it.
