North Dakotans are making it clear: We stand with transgender youth.

In light of the North Dakota Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a statewide ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth, 300+ organizations and individuals have signed an open letter calling on state leaders to live up to North Dakota’s values. Every young person deserves safety, support, and belonging. And singling out trans youth for discrimination is unacceptable.

Gender Justice and Transforming families are seeking up-to 3 trans and gender-expansive artists to create visual art inspired by stories anonymously shared by Minnesota trans youth and families — stories of the harm caused by relentless anti-trans political attacks, but also the joy, pride, and love that define trans lives and families. These stories (and artworks) will be shared with care and consent at the Minnesota Legislature to highlight the real kids, families, and lives impacted by anti-trans policies.
