The creative hub that is Fergus Falls just got a little bigger! We’re delighted to welcome Angelina LaPointe, Wade Underwood, and Eli Zemper to the Falls Community Arts Exchange.

Artists Wade Underwood, Angelique LaPointe, and Eli Zemper will be collaborating with Fergus Falls local businesses to nurture creativity, community, and connection!

☀️A Sunday note of reflection from our outgoing Executive Director Laura Zabel:

Springboard is an organization for artists, by artists. Throughout our history, our work has been led by amazing staff and board members and an ever-growing community of creative people. In addition to the impact of our programs, I believe Springboard’s success is also measured in the number of staff members who bought their first home, expanded their family, or took a sabbatical to focus on their artistic practice. It’s measured in board members who felt comfortable introducing themselves as artists for the first time or carried Springboard’s values into an entrepreneurial endeavor. I am so grateful to have worked with and learned from so many people who understand that joy, possibility, and change are what (and how) we build together.

💛 Reminder for Artists & Creatives in the LRAC Region 💛
Round 3 of LRAC’s Emergency Relief Fund is open through June 25, 2026.

Eligible applicants may receive a $500 stipend to help with recent emergencies related to:
🏠 Housing
🩺 Healthcare
🛠 Equipment
⚖️ Legal needs

✨ Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so applicants may receive funding as applications are processed rather than waiting until the final deadline.

Applicants must:
• Be 18+
• Live in LRAC’s 9-county region
• Have lived in the region for at least 6 months
• Apply as an individual
• Have experienced an emergency within the past 12 months
