Today we honor the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment (https://www.archives.gov/milestone-documents/19th-amendment). As the work for the 19th Amendment then led to the founding of LWV, take a moment to learn more about suffrage work in Minnesota. What a great Day of Action! Thank you everyone who participated in the LWV Minnesota and local events. Thank you to the Minnesota Humanities Center, LWV Roseville Area, LWV New Brighton Area, LWV St. Paul, and LWV White Bear Lake Area for planning a great day of storytelling, community, and postcard writing action. We learned so much from watching clips from the Hope in the Struggle documentary and hearing from our speakers, Averie Younge and Diane Power. We've already seen some great photos from the events around the country and we look forward to seeing more and hearing about your work!

Your voice matters in every election — including the Primary.

Don’t leave decisions about your community’s future to others. Make a plan to vote in the Primary today and make sure your voice is part of the process. Visit VOTE411 to make a plan today!
