MSSA is a professional association representing a unique cross section of non-profit and for-profit agencies from the public and private sector. Our membership includes anyone concerned about the human service
system—social workers, case aides, public health nurses, managers, child support offices, financial workers, county commissioners, probation officers and more. With over 3700 individual memb

ers and 161 agency members, we cover the entire health and human service field across Minnesota. MSSA provides health and human service professionals with the tools to help them serve their clients better, through education, advocacy, and other member benefits. MSSA was established in 1893 as the Minnesota Conference on Corrections and Charities to share best practices from Minnesota and other states to improve care to clients.

Through care coordination, community partnerships, and ongoing support, she works to reduce barriers to mental health services and ensure those who have served receive the care they deserve.

A BIG win for MSSA's members.

After years of advocacy, legislation establishing a Waiver Case Management Advisory Working Group and statewide rate study has officially PASSED.

Thank you to the MSSA members, case managers, providers, and advocates who fought for this work every step of the way.

Special thanks to Representative Dawn Gillman and Senator John Hoffman for their leadership throughout this effort, and to State Representative Peter Fischer and Representative Heather Keeler for their partnership and work on these issues.
