On June 1st, Legal Aid SMC welcomed board members, staff, attorneys from leading law firms, local philanthropists, artists, and community members to a beautiful garden soirée hosted by our Housing Program Operations Manager, Mari Chatterjee.

Executive Director Stacey Hawver shared Legal Aid SMC’s mission and highlighted key programs, while Mari spoke about her work with tenants and the importance of ensuring that low-income residents of San Mateo County have access to justice and stable housing.

Last week we hosted our 29th Annual "And Justice for All" Awards Lunch. It was amazing to see over 125 people come out in support of Justice for All in San Mateo County!

Congratulations to the four award recipients: George Wailes, Debevoise & Plimpton LLC, Stephanie Bilinski, and Kapwa Kultural Center. Your work is an inspiration to Legal Aid SMC, and we are so happy to have been able to honor you.
