It’s never too late. 🎶

No timeline for creativity. No deadline for your passion. No age or stage of life when you have to stop believing in what’s possible.

Sometimes the songs we haven’t written yet mean the most. Sometimes all it takes is the courage to begin again.

Your story is still being written.

Wherever you are as a songwriter, there’s room for you here. Find your people at West Coast Songwriters. Link in bio. ✨

Friday night set the tone 🎤

Our 2026 conference opened the best way we know how: with an open mic full of new songs, brave first-timers, and seasoned writers sharing the stage.

Your words. Your melodies. Your voices. Your songs.

Thank you to everyone who played and everyone who showed up to listen. This community sounds better because of you ✨

Were you there? Tag yourself or a friend who played 🎵

Open mics continue all year. Find one near you at the link in bio.

Screaming into the Void: Sync VS Streams 🎵

Saturday, October 10 at 12 PM, we get practical about how music gets discovered, licensed and paid for right now.

Where the real opportunities are, sync or streams.
What sync actually wants, and what it doesn’t.
Where to put your energy to build a career that lasts.

Moderated by WCS Vice President Karl McHugh, with Robert Navarro of APM Music, six-time Emmy winner Eddie Wohl, Jonathan Haskell of ALIBI Music and Michael “Smidi” Smith of Saint Rogue.
