1. Monday Night Group - 6:15-7:45 pm - Youth Group for LGBTQQ youth 13-17 years old

Founded in 1997, Outlet empowers Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r and Questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and builds safe and accepting communities through support, education, and advocacy. The Grown Folks - 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 6-8pm: Youth Group for LGBTQQ young adults aged 17-24

3. De Ambiente - 2nd and 4th Fridays, 6-8pm: Groupo en ESPAÑOL

4. Counseling - Professional counseling for LGBTQQ

youth at very low or no cost

Join us on March 28th for the free and fabulous Glitter and Glam Drag Workshop and Show 🥳🥳 🕺💃

Beginning at 2:30 pm, the incredible will be giving introductory drag makeup instructions and we will provide makeup, clothes, wigs, and shoes!! Anyone is welcome to participate, no skills needed.

Then at 3:30, doors will open for anyone who would like to watch the Glitter and Glam show at 4 pm where folks will have a chance to show off their looks✨✨

Coming Up at the end of February: National Day of Reading!

The San Mateo County Pride Center, Outlet, a program of Adolescent Counseling Services, and Reach & Teach Books and Gifts are thrilled to partner for The National Day of Reading!

We hope you can join us on Friday, February 27th at Reach & Teach for an afternoon filled with community and stories supporting Trans* and Non-Binary youth. Readings will be held at 4:15, 4:45, 5:15. And 5:45pm..

Throughout the afternoon, we will focus on creating welcoming and affirming spaces for transgender and non-binary youth through the reading of inclusive literature, such as Marley's Pride, Chloe and the Fireflies, Halfway to Somewhere, and A World Worth Saving.

This event is free and open to the public. Light snacks will be provided. Join us from 4 to 6pm. Reach & Teach Books and Gifts is located at 1179 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos. Register in advance for an extra ticket to win our door prizes.

NEXT WEEK: Outlet Thrift - A Quarterly Clothing Swap Event

BIG thank you to everyone who donated clothes/took some new clothing items at our 1st Clothing Swap event on Tuesday November 25! Due to a large amount of clothes DONATED, we have decided to host their event every quarter (3 months)!

Our next clothing swap event will be hosted on Tuesday, February 10th from 3:00-5:00pm!

Our partner organization, the San Mateo County Pride Center will also be returning to the Clothing Swap event to provide case management hours, where you can get free help with GAC, housing, mental health referrals and more!

This clinical group will be a safe space for parents and caregivers to connect, share similar experiences, and promote resilience. It is specifically for parents/caregivers who have youth between the ages of 5 and 25.
