Mark your calendars! November is Family Engagement Month and we’re celebrating the powerful impact that happens when families and schools team up to ensure our children thrive. To celebrate Family Engagement Month, California State PTA will be offering School Smarts Academies to three school sites across our southern, central, and northern regions of the state. With California State PTA’s School Smarts Program, leaders can advance family engagement within their school communities by empowering families with the tools and resources they need to support student success. 🌟

Dear 17th District PTA (San Mateo County) Board Members, Council PTA Presidents, and Out-of-Council Units,

You are strongly encouraged to attend our Board Meeting on Zoom on Wed, Aug 19 at 7 pm. See your email for the Zoom link.

Council PTA Presidents: if you are not available, please assign a representative from your Council PTA to report on successes and challenges of this start of the school year, and bring news back to your Council PTA.

At this meeting, we will introduce the new Council PTA Presidents, hear reports from our Out-of-Council PTA units, and prepare for our Fall Association Meeting which will include our PTA Officers Training on Monday August 31 on Zoom.

We will set up the Calendar for the school year, finalize the Budget, and decide on the programs that we want to present.
