🎒✏️ **Back-to-school season is here!** 📚💛

Thanks to some incredible community partners, our shelves are stocked and backpacks are ready to help the children and families we serve head into the school year feeling prepared. 🥹

A HUGE thank you to Portera at The Grove , Famous Footwear , Ticket to Dream Foundation | Foster Care Nonprofit , and LEGO for helping make this year’s School Supply Drive possible! Your generosity means our kids can pick out the supplies and backpacks they need to start the year with confidence. 💜

Want to help support kids this back-to-school season? We’re still accepting **Target and Fred Meyer gift cards** so families can pick up any remaining school essentials, clothing, shoes, or supplies they need.

In July, our Family Support Group gathered for a family BBQ! Kids got to play, caregivers got to catch up, and families had time to relax and enjoy being together.

For caregivers and children impacted by foster care and adoption, having a community of people who understand can mean so much. Sometimes connection is as simple as sharing a meal, watching the kids play, and spending an evening with people who get it.

🎶 We have something special for you this Thursday... 🎶

Rainezra and Cada are both bringing their full bands to Kinship House Unplugged! If you've been wanting to catch either of them with a full band, this is the moment.

We'll also have a special performance from one of our very own staff, Emma Merritt-Paz, who will be gracing us with her soulful voice.

And that's not all...

🍦 Fifty Licks will be handing out free ice cream while supporting our mission of providing therapy for children and families impacted by foster care.

🍪 Caro's Cookies will be donating proceeds to Kinship House.

🍋 Jade's Lemonade will be donating her time and talents to create a beautiful custom lemonade bar.

🛍️ Smudgebug Studio will be donating 20% of all proceeds to Kinship House, Tapestry Inkworks will also be donating proceeds, and Decorative by Design will have beautiful cups and unique gifts available for purchase.
