Our next two fall cleanups are coming up!

Join us and SOLVE this fall as we continue to host community cleanups to care for our local environments. Whether you are a neighbor, a local professional, or just someone who loves our city, your time makes a tangible difference. We will be tackling trash pickup, removing leaves that make the sidewalks and bike lanes slippery, and removing graffiti at Peace Memorial Park and the surrounding areas, including the Eastbank Esplanade and the Moda Center.

Where: Peace Memorial Park (7 NE Oregon St, Portland)
What to bring: Wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a reusable water bottle and a backpack for hands-free convenience.
What we provide: All tools, safety vests, gloves, snacks, and water are included.

We've got a BIG update: The Lloyd Community Events Lending Library is entering a new era. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with B-Line Urban Delivery (B-line Urban Delivery) to bring zero-emission delivery to our borrowers.

Since we launched the library, the community response has been incredible. From January 1 to September 30 of this year alone, we lent out 7,231 items to support 165 events across the city.

By pooling resources, we are keeping tens of thousands of dollars in the pockets of local small businesses and organizations. In fact, our canopies have been borrowed 259 times since 2024. That means we have saved our borrowers over $31,080 in commercial rental fees on just one single type of item.

Now, we are taking our commitment to sustainability and accessibility even further. We have officially moved our inventory to the B-Line warehouse, allowing us to replace gas-powered vehicle trips with consolidated, zero-emission deliveries.

To celebrate this partnership, we are piloting free zero-emission delivery and pickup for groups based in the Lloyd EcoDistrict, events happening in Lloyd, and public markets or vendors throughout Portland. If you do not qualify for free delivery, we can provide it for a small fee, or you can always pick up your items directly at B-Line for free.

Our inventory has grown to over 1,000 items across 93 unique categories. Whether you need pop-up canopies, folding tables, electric battery generators, PA systems, or zero-waste sorting bins, we have the supplies you need to make your next event affordable and sustainable.

Register for Portland Parks & Recreation Fall Activities!

From tap dancing, watercolor painting, and theatre classes to bouldering, yoga, and strength training, there are activities for all ages and abilities.

Classes and activities take place across Portland, including at the Matt Dishman Community Center just outside of Lloyd.

These activities take place from September 28 through November 1, and registration starts today (September 10th).

If the price of activities is too high, Portland residents can register for an Access Discount to get reduced pricing. No proof of income is required. PP&R provides programming with resources from the Parks Local Option Levy (Parks Levy).

Join Lloyd EcoDistrict and NEBroadwayPDX on Friday, September 18th as we celebrate international Park(ing) Day by transforming ordinary curbside parking spaces into a welcoming “Civic Porch.”

reimagines how public street space can bring people together, support local businesses, and foster community connection. This year, we are setting up our outdoor porch on NE Broadway to host local leaders and talk about the future of our neighborhood, city, and county.

⚠️🚷 Duckworth Dock / Lloyd Live at the Dock Update ⚠️🚷

We’re sad to share that there have been potentially harmful algae bloom sightings near Duckworth Dock today. While we wait for official confirmation from the Oregon Health Authority, out of an abundance of caution for both people and pets, we are canceling our this Wednesday's Lloyd Live at the Dock event at Duckworth Dock.

Harmful algae can make people sick and is especially dangerous for dogs. Please avoid contact with affected areas until conditions improve.

🚴‍♀️ Get ready for one of Portland's most unique events of the summer!

The POP! Party (Party on, Portland!) is back this Sunday, and we are thrilled to bring it to you alongside the high-speed Portland Criterium. Join us in the Lloyd for an unforgettable day of fun, energy, and community connection.

⏰ Event Schedule on Sunday:
- Portland Criterium: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- POP! Party: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Come for the fast corners and loud cheers, and stay for the FREE hot dogs (while supplies last!), face painting, games, and nearly 20 community groups setting up activities in the Park.

Grab a drink at the b**r garden and get incredible up-close views of elite cyclists taking over the streets.

We are so excited to team up with the Portland Criterium, Go Lloyd , and the Lloyd Community Association to make this happen. We'll also be joined by our fabulous drag MC host, Kimberly Michelle Westwood 👑✨

This Wednesday, come on a Bike Summer Bike Summer ride led by Lloyd EcoDistrict's new Executive Director, Joshua Baker, and discover why there’s more to Lloyd than meets the eye! The tour will end at Duckworth Dock for Lloyd Live: At the Dock, where you can enjoy the sunset on the river and a live DJ set with PopCartPDX.

It's going to be hot, so bring water. The ride is slow-paced, with frequent stops. Joshua will have our vending e-trike filled with free ice pops to help you cool off!!

As Oregon’s first and only certified EcoDistrict / Just Growth community, Lloyd is setting the standard for collaborative, holistic development. We’re on a mission to transform Lloyd into one of the most sustainable neighborhoods in North America, championing equity, resilience, and climate protection. We’ve got lots more work to do, but we’re excited to share updates and progress!

But what exactly is an EcoDistrict? Hop on your bike and join us for an engaging ride through Lloyd, where we’ll explore how we’re turning EcoDistrict concepts into real-world innovations. Along the way, you’ll see the nation’s first pollinator bike corridor, cutting-edge water treatment systems, sustainable buildings, resilience infrastructure, vibrant murals, important memorials, redesigned parks, community gardening projects, and learn about behind-the-scenes programs that the EcoDistrict runs.

We’ll meet at 5:15 PM in the middle of Holladay Park, and begin our ride at 5:25. We’ll end the ride around 6:45 PM at Duckworth Dock for Lloyd Live: At the Dock.
