Go Lloyd

Go Lloyd is the Transportation Management Association (TMA) for the Lloyd neighborhood. Go Lloyd is a private 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization.

We pride ourselves on being the concierge for Lloyd, and we truly appreciate the people who make the neighborhood thrive. Go Lloyd was founded in 1994 as the Lloyd District Transportation Management Association (TMA). TMAs are public/private partnerships formed so that employers, developers, building owners, and government entities can work collectively to establish policies, programs, and service

s to address local transportation issues and foster economic development. TMAs are established within a limited geographic area to address the specific needs of their members. In 2014, the Lloyd District TMA changed its name to Go Lloyd to reflect an expanded focus on the economic development aspect of its mission.

The Portland Rides Standard/Cargo rebate release has officially been announced for August 17. If you want to apply and have not yet, make sure to get your applications in by the release date. If you have previously applied, your application will roll over into this release, and all future releases. Also note that due to an overwhelming interest, applications are not open for adaptive e-bikes. Learn more using the link in our bio.

This fall, Go Lloyd is launching our "FareShare" program, designed specifically for small businesses, to provide affordable and accessible transit.

Commuting in Lloyd has never been easier, with a multitude of different transit options to get you in and out of the district. Go Lloyd wants to capitalize on this accessibility, to get employees of small businesses using those transit options as easily and affordably as possible. This program has endless benefits, and has been created to give you an unbeatable deal on annual transit passes.

Lloyd Center, you will be missed.

As a reminder, the last day that Lloyd Center Mall will be open is Saturday, August 8. Make sure to get all your last shopping and skating in while you can 🛍️ ⛸️

The mall will be turned into a mixed-use neighborhood, featuring new housing units, green space, and improved connections with surrounding neighborhoods.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is updating the Transportation Safety Action Plan to create a safer transportation system and further reduce crashes and eliminate traffic fatalities. This plan will provide a roadmap for decision-making on best practices for reaching the goal of zero traffic deaths by 2050.

Before it is complete, ODOT wants to hear from you on the plan, and what should be prioritized going forward. Their draft plan is open for public comment until July 31.
