Thank you to Coach John Bates of Rust College Baseball for making the trip all the way from Mississippi to Pittsburgh to spend time with our student-athletes!

Coach Bates shared his personal journey, offered valuable insight into the college recruiting process, and spoke with our players about what it takes to succeed at the next level. He also spent time evaluating our student-athletes during a workout.

We appreciate Coach Bates for taking the time to invest in our young people and help us continue creating opportunities for exposure, access, and development through baseball.

Today, Pittsburgh Hardball Academy student leaders participated in the Project Impact: Student Impact Alliance Fall Conference at Point Park University!

This year's conference, themed “Making Change for Community Good,” brought together young leaders from across the region for a day focused on leadership, civic engagement, community service, and making a positive impact.

Through interactive workshops, collaborative activities, and meaningful conversations, our student leaders explored the importance of embracing diverse perspectives, using their voices, and creating lasting change in their communities.

Thank you to Point Park University and the Project Impact team for their continued partnership and commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders.

At Pittsburgh Hardball Academy, our mission extends far beyond the baseball field. Opportunities like these are an important part of developing well-rounded student-athletes who are prepared to lead both on and off the field.

We’re excited to introduce a Fueling Station at the Pittsburgh Hardball Training and Education Center!

Student-athletes now have free access to protein bars, healthy snacks, drinks, and other grab-and-go options to help them stay fueled before and after training.

It’s another way we’re continuing to build an environment that supports our athletes beyond what happens on the field.

Yesterday, we kicked off Swing & Study at Pittsburgh Hardball Academy, and our student-athletes had a great time!

Swing & Study takes place every Friday night and is open to all PHA student-athletes, providing dedicated time for academics, training, and mentorship.

Each week, mentors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s CAP (Community Alliance Program) join us to support students with schoolwork, provide guidance, and build relationships that extend beyond baseball and softball.

Week one is in the books. See you next Friday! 📚⚾🥎
