Pittsburgh parents, I need your help.
So many teens are struggling right now—and most of them don’t say a word about it.
They show up to school.
They smile.
They act like everything is fine.
But inside? Confidence is low. Self-worth is low. And they don’t feel seen.
That’s why I created Project Confidence.
We create personalized ‘confidence baskets’ for teens (ages 12-18), filled with things they actually want—based on their interests, style, and personality.
Not just needs.
Not just basics.
Things that make them feel like themselves again.
If you know a teen who could use this—whether it’s your child, a student, or someone in your community—please nominate them.
💗 It’s completely confidential
💗 They can apply themselves or be nominated
💗 It could truly change how they see themselves

Let’s remind these kids they matter.
Applications are completely anonymous. Project Confidence is a nonprofit organization created and run by Penn-Trafford Junior Celia Sperber.
