Abingdon Square is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the West Village in New York City.

Our mission is to enhance and maintain the Square—the third oldest park in New York City—as a scenic and historic West Village landmark. A non-profit public charity, we receive no public funding and are solely dependent on private donations for the park's operations.

Fall is in full swing, and one of our neighborhood’s favorite traditions is returning! Join the Abingdon Square Conservancy for our 19th Annual Pumpkin Patch & Halloween Celebration!

Saturday, October 31 | 5:30–7:30 PM Enjoy festive decorations by Hudson River Flowers, trick-or-treating with delicious treats courtesy of Li-Lac Chocolates and other generous donors, and live music by Peter Lewy.

From our garden to yours,

We’re excited to share Abingdon Square’s tulip bulbs with you, our neighbors. Our horticulturist is digging them up this morning, May 6th. Stop by Abingdon Square in the afternoon, or Thursday and Friday morning, to pick some up and plant them in your garden, backyard, or even a sunny windowsill! Please bring your own bag to take them home. First come, first served!
