Join us for Summer Sings and sing great choral works with us this summer!

Summer Sings are for singers and choral enthusiasts while most choirs are on summer break. Conductor Matthew Lewis will guide us through these masterworks in a fun and supportive setting, with James Bassi at the piano. Scores are provided and refreshments served. No need to reserve, just come and sing. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.

On Wednesday evening, May 13th, we welcome you to our Spring Benefit. We are thrilled to host this year’s event at the , in their beautiful landmark townhouse in Greenwich Village.

For those of you not familiar with the Club, it was formed in 1871 as a place for musicians, painters, sculptors, and their patrons to gather, share their work, and exchange ideas—all while having a rousing good time. It is the perfect setting for our benefit, as we bring you an evening of musical entertainment, delectable food and drink and an enticing silent auction. A few of the items offered this year include lunch at the National Arts Club paired with a walking tour of Gramercy Park, tickets to Paul Taylor Dance, and a gift basket featuring four exquisite wines.

We hope you will join us this year for our exciting Spring benefit. We will be celebrating the parallel histories of St. George’s Choral Society and our country’s founding. Established in 1817, SGCS has been making music for more than 200 of the 250 years since the Declaration of Independence. This Spring’s benefit will be a chance to honor that joint history.
