On September 30th, we held our very first “Raise a Glass for a Cause” event and we had a great turnout. We ushered in the new event, by emphasizing the importance of your support and continued effort, which helps provide scholarship awards to our Swiss/American students.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Julie Schramm and Stephanie Heggli-Nonay, who have been scholarship recipients for several years. They have graciously shared their stories and the impact the scholarships have had on their education and why it is so important to continue the fundraising efforts for future awardees.

The silent auction was a success as well, and our attendees enjoyed some great Swiss w**e and charcuterie boards.

We would like to express our gratitude for attending the evening and for your continued support.

We look forward to our next event, the Fondue Dinner in November and our next “Raise a Glass for a Cause” event in January, so stay tuned and stay connected.

An SBS Special Event

Come join the SBS and “Raise a Glass for a Cause”, a warm and lively fundraiser supporting the 's social services and scholarship programs.

We are gathering at the beautiful **e_bar in the West Village, where great w**e and good company come together for an even better purpose.

Your presence helps strengthen programs that make a real difference for individuals and families in our community. It is a chance to enjoy an evening out while supporting meaningful work and get to know 2 of our scholarship recipients as well, who will be joining us that evening.

We will also hold a silent auction for two items to support our scholarship programs at the inaugural event.

On Sunday, August 16th the New York City Jass Tournament was jointly organized by the and and held at **e_bar.

Twenty participants played four rounds of “Schieber” and had a great time, and Paul Jordi was the winner with an impressive performance.

On August 1st, the Swiss community came together from near and far to celebrate our Swiss traditions with family and friends again at the Hudson.

It was a day filled with camaraderie, sunshine, Swiss traditional food and w**e. There was something for everyone.

The Swiss Benevolent Society NY was right there celebrating with their Swiss community. We invited people to visit our table, had a chance to catch up with old and new friends.

The day was truly amazing. If you are still in the mood to celebrate, we invite you to join us this Thursday for our annual August 1st dinner at the The Lavaux . Today is the last day to sign-up! Link in our bio.
