ASTORIA CHAPTER HOLDS MONTHLY CHAPTER MEETING

The meeting provided an important forum to review chapter programs, discuss upcoming activities, assess ongoing initiatives, and establish clear priorities for the months ahead. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen communication, accountability, and unity among our members.

Under the leadership of Chapter Commander Sir Ali Ilaga, KGOR the Astoria Chapter remains committed to building a stronger and more engaged organization.

Every meeting is more than an administrative obligation. It is an opportunity to align our vision, strengthen our chapter, and reaffirm our commitment to serve with humility, integrity, and purpose.

The Astoria Chapter is deeply honored, and proudly joined delegates from around the world at the historic International Assembly commemorating the 75th Charter Anniversary of the Knights of Rizal, held on July 27–28 at the iconic The Manila Hotel, Philippines.

This landmark gathering brought together Rizalians in a meaningful celebration of fellowship, leadership, and service, reaffirming our shared commitment to the ideals of our National Hero, Dr. José P. Rizal. It was an honor to stand alongside Brother Knights and Ladies for Rizal from across the globe, strengthening the bonds of our Order while embracing our collective mission of nation-building and servant leadership.

As we celebrate this diamond milestone, the Astoria Chapter remains inspired to continue advancing Rizal’s legacy through unity, integrity, lead with honor, serve with humility, and dedicated service to our communities. We return with renewed purpose and strengthened resolve to continue promoting the ideals of Dr. Jose Rizal.

Another Successful Gathering.

The Astoria Chapter came together for another productive monthly meeting. It was an opportunity to strengthen our community, review of post events, discuss upcoming programs, share ideas, and reaffirm our commitment.

We are truly grateful to all our trustees, officers, and members for your active participation and continued support. Your dedication and teamwork are what make our chapter stronger with every meeting.

The Knights of Rizal – Astoria Chapter proudly participated in the commemoration of the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. José Rizal in both the States of New York and New Jersey, joining fellow Rizalians and community leaders in honoring the life, legacy, and enduring ideals of our National Hero.

We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the Astoria Chapter officers and members whose support, dedication, and presence contributed to the success of these commemorative ceremonies. A special and meaningful remarks shared by the Deputy Supreme Pursuivant, & Astoria Chapter Founder Sir Joselito Jay Cayabyab, KGOR. Your participation reflects our collective commitment to preserving Rizal’s legacy and promoting his values of patriotism, leadership, and service.

The Astoria Chapter proudly stood in solidarity during the historic press conference at New York City Hall in support of the resolution declaring June 12 as Philippine Independence Day in New York City.

This meaningful initiative by the Knights of Rizal- New York State Area Command Sir Rely Manacay Sir Clifford Robin Temprosa is sponsored by NYC Council Member Julie Won represents a powerful recognition of the enduring contributions, heritage, and legacy of the Filipino community in New York.

Astoria Chapter remains committed to supporting initiatives that honor Filipino identity, preserve our cultural heritage, and uplift the voice of the Filipino-American community through civic engagement and unity.
