This Juneteenth 💚❤️🖤 weekend, we proudly hosted a USTA Foundation x Realize the Dream (Realize The Dream) community event, where children came together to play tennis, enjoy chess, and celebrate the power of learning, unity, and community.

Inspired by the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Realize the Dream encourages each generation to continue building communities where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. At Community Literacy Club, we are proud to support that vision by using sports, literacy, and enrichment activities to help young people develop confidence, character, and leadership.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Juneteenth through fellowship, fun, and meaningful experiences for our youth. Together, we continue the work of helping young people realize their dreams.

Through reading, Ariana is discovering new ways to strengthen relationships, communicate with others, and better understand the people around her.

At Community Literacy Club, we believe literacy comes in many forms. Books don’t just help children become better readers—they help them develop empathy, build stronger connections, and navigate life’s challenges.

We’re so proud of Ariana for sharing what she’s learning and for using books to grow both inside and outside the classroom.

Because some of life’s greatest lessons are found between the pages of a book. ❤️

Congratulations to Team Spark members Xavier and Skye on finishing as finalists last weekend at the UnitedSets L6 Intermediate Tournament in Connecticut!🎾👏

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and growth they have shown throughout the year. Reaching the finals is a testament to the effort they continue to put in on and off the court. 🏆💪

We are so proud of Mandela and all that he has accomplished! He has proudly competed with Team Spark for two consecutive years in the Annual ATA/USTA Eastern Cup! 💛🎾

This year, Mandela was recognized with the Sportsmanship and Leadership Medal, a tremendous honor that reflects the character, teamwork, and leadership he brings both on and off the court.

Community Literacy Events & Enrichment Program we believe success is measured not only by wins, but by the values our students demonstrate. We are thrilled to see Mandela’s dedication and positive example recognized by both USTA Eastern and the American Tennis Association, Inc.
