We are so proud of Mandela and all that he has accomplished! He has proudly competed with Team Spark for two consecutive years in the Annual ATA/USTA Eastern Cup! 💛🎾

This year, Mandela was recognized with the Sportsmanship and Leadership Medal, a tremendous honor that reflects the character, teamwork, and leadership he brings both on and off the court.

Community Literacy Events & Enrichment Program we believe success is measured not only by wins, but by the values our students demonstrate. We are thrilled to see Mandela’s dedication and positive example recognized by both USTA Eastern and the American Tennis Association, Inc.

Congratulations, Mandela! Your Community Literacy Club family is proud of you, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. 🏆👏

Meet Noah, age 7 as he shares a book that made a difference in his life. Through reading, he learned valuable lessons about kindness, treating others with respect, and making positive choices.

Books have the power to teach us important life lessons, and Noah’s story is a great reminder that learning can help us become better friends, classmates, and community members.

We are so proud of Noah for sharing his thoughts and encouraging other young readers to learn and grow through books.

đź’¬ What is a book that taught you an important life lesson? Let us know in the comments!

We are so proud of these students who were selected to compete for Team UnitedSets U10 Red Ball Team! 🎾💛

Selection for this team was about more than tennis skills. These young players demonstrated effort, positive attitudes, resilience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn throughout our programming. Watching them step on court, support one another, and represent our community with courage and sportsmanship was incredibly meaningful.

At Community Literacy Club, experiences like these help students build confidence both on and off the court. Congratulations to all of our players and families—we can’t wait for the next round! 🏆

We are incredibly proud of Lawson, our Sportsmanship Winner of the Weekend! 🎾🏆

This weekend, Lawson was recognized by USTA Eastern and awarded his very own tennis racket for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, effort, and positivity throughout the event.

At Community Literacy Events we believe character matters just as much as competition, and Lawson represented that beautifully all weekend long. Watching his growth and the journey he is on has been truly special for our coaches, families, and community.

Congratulations Lawson — keep working hard and enjoying the process. We are proud of you! 💚

Thanks to the support of our amazing partner , our team players received new sneakers in time for our upcoming spring team tournaments.

As an enrichment program, many of our students come to afterschool programs, practices, and winter training in whatever shoes they have available. Being able to provide footwear specifically for tennis practices and matches means so much for these young athletes.

Small things like the right shoes can make a big difference in confidence, comfort, and feeling prepared to step on the court.

Thank you for supporting our players and our community. 🎾

Not perfect swings. Not wins.
Just showing up, listening, and trying again.

In our programs students are learning how to work — how to stay with something even when it’s hard.

That’s where confidence comes from.

More than a program. A pathway. 🎾

Our lower elementary championship wasn’t just about winning—it was about growth. In our red ball tournaments, the focus is on building life skills and social-emotional development every step of the way.

Learning to follow directions, wait your turn, stay focused, and keep going even when it’s hard—these are the real wins we celebrate. 🏆

We’re proud of every player who stepped on the court and showed resilience, patience, and courage. Congratulations to our finalists and champions—you earned those medals in more ways than one.
