Primary season had us everywhere. Knocking doors, making calls, talking with our neighbors, and showing up wherever our communities needed us.

This is what year-round organizing looks like.

We were out there with our people, talking to our neighbors, building relationships, and putting in the work long before Election Day.

They tried to keep us out of the room. We’re still here.

Florida Rising now has standing in Duke Energy’s large-load tariff case, which means we can keep fighting to make sure everyday Floridians aren’t stuck paying the price for massive data centers.

Because when billion-dollar industries need more power, working families shouldn’t get the bill.

This fight is just getting started.

Today, we celebrate Alaina Slife.

She left us far too soon, but the work she poured into this movement continues to ripple outward. We carry her spirit with us, especially when the road gets hard.
