Some moments remind us just how important this mission truly is.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Steven Jones on being named a 2026 Angels in Adoption® Honoree for the State of Alabama by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute alongside Representative Barry Moore.

This honor represents more than an award. It reflects a lifetime of fighting for children to have what every child deserves: love, stability, guidance, and a place to belong.

For all of us at the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches, this recognition shines a light on the lives being changed every day through people who choose to show up, serve, and care deeply for children in need.

Congratulations, Steven. Your impact is reaching far beyond what words can measure.

Tuscaloosa raised the bar again! They packed Ol’ Colony out with TWO tournaments in ONE day to support the Ranches! What an amazing day of golf and an even better opportunity to fellowship with amazing organizations who love our kids as much as we do. Thank you so much to and for a day to remember.

You need ribs... and the Baldwin Boys need your help.

The Baldwin County Boys Ranch needs your help to reach their fundraising goal. If you're in the area and would like some expertly smoked ribs and a pint of beans for lunch this weekend or would like to contribute to their goal, you can buy your ticket here:

They're coming up a little bit short of their goal and could use a good push to the finish line to help our boys down in Baldwin. If you aren't in the area, you can still help out by sharing the attached graphic on social media or via text to someone who could use some good BBQ this Saturday.

NERF WAR!! A new core memory was created when these boys got to battle it out Nerf-style with a real SWAT team. It doesn’t always take something extraordinary. Just showing up to play or volunteer is enough to invest in Alabama’s future. Thank you Office of the Sheriff - St. Clair County Alabama for pouring into these young men. It’s easier to build boys and girls than to repair men and women.
