Back in August, we officially kicked off our 2026 campaign, United Is the Way We Thrive, surrounded by the people who make our work possible.

From inspiring conversations and meaningful connections to celebrating the organizations already leading the way, our kickoff was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together.

A special shoutout to our 2026 Pacesetter Organizations for setting the tone for the campaign and helping us start strong! Together, Renasant Bank, Servis1st Bank, CB&S Bank, River Bank & Trust, WSFA 12 News, Warren Averett, and Regions Bank raised an incredible $236,000 in early campaign support. 👏🏾

Thank you to our Campaign Co-Chairs Charisse Stokes and Dr. Rhea Ingram, Campaign Cabinet, corporate partners, Community Partners, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who helped make this day special.

The kickoff may be a memory, but the momentum continues. Together, we’re helping communities across our River Region thrive. 💚

📲 Join us in making an impact. Text THRIVE26 to 41444 to give today.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, honoring the lives lost and the families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by that day.

At River Region United Way, we believe that when we come together, we are stronger. In moments of hardship and in moments of hope, the power of community, compassion, and service reminds us what it means to stand united.

Today and always, we remember. We honor. We serve. 🇺🇸

United, we remember. United, we thrive.

🎥 UNITED IS THE WAY WE THRIVE

Our 2026 Campaign Video is here! ❤️

Hear directly from our Campaign Co-Chairs as they share why this work matters and why we must continue coming together to create a stronger River Region.

✨ Learn about ALICE and the challenges working families face in our communities.
✨ Hear from our #1 Global Corporate Partner, Publix, about their commitment to giving back and creating lasting impact.
✨ Hear from our Community Partners about the difference they are making across our community every day.

This campaign is about more than a goal — it’s about people, partnerships, and the collective impact we can make when we come together.

A special THANK YOU to WSFA 12 News for producing this year’s campaign video and helping us tell the story of what’s possible when we come together. We are grateful for your partnership! ❤️
