We are 6 weeks away from our Third Annual Christmas Bazaar! We like to sell handmade and homemade art and gifts. Do you have anything to donate? Let us know!

People often ask us what the girls need at The Grove. Monday night at our monthly meeting when we discussed the proper ways to clean, it became apparent that they need the right supplies. They are young enough where they don't value these items enough to spend their hard earned money on them, and old enough that we have to raise the bar of expectation for their living conditions.
Please find link to Needs List in Comments, and pitch in where you can.
Our motto at The Grove is Dignified Affordable Housing, and that applies to the cleanliness factor too…

Tonight for our monthly Grove Night, we celebrated one of our residents completing her GED, our intern Kya got us dinner from Whataburger, and we learned how to properly clean a kitchen! 🧹🍳🧽🫧

A delicious meal from Jim N Nick’s makes our discussion on budgeting goals go down much easier. 😝 Thank you for providing such delicious food for our monthly Grove Nights. 😋

Our Director, Dawn Seabolt, spent today in Birmingham at Alabama Power Foundation’s Elevate Conference. As a Grant Recipient, The Grove is invited to be a part of this great community and empowering annual conference. Thank you Alabama Power Foundation for pouring into so many nonprofits doing good work all over the state!

Learning life saving skills is serious business, but we still had a lot of fun at our CPR Training. Thank you American Red Cross of Alabama for providing this opportunity for us! 🙏🏾❤️
