A 501c3 nonprofit service organization dedicated to growing a greener Village of Whitefish Bay, WI.

The mission of the Whitefish Bay Garden Club is to stimulate an interest in horticulture and the development of home gardens, to beautify civic grounds, and to protect natural surroundings. Whitefish Bay (WFB) Garden Club, founded in 1958, just celebrated its 55th anniversary. In recent years, the WFB Garden Club has started, promoted or collaborated on the following community projects:
•Re-established the Butterfly Garden at Cahill Park;
•Co-sponsored Bird City recognition;
•Weeded Klode Path to Lake Michigan;
•Participated in Green Day in the Bay;
•Planted trees on Arbor Day at local schools;
•Established Forget-Me-Not bouquets for WFB residents in need of TLC;
•Entered the annual Milwaukee Art Museum Art in Bloom competitions;
•Won numerous Garden Club/Flower Awards and Recognitions at the State level.

Congratulations to WFB High School senior Dominic Tighe, the 2026 recipient of the Isabel Lillie Environmental Stewardship Scholarship!
The scholarship honors the memory of Whitefish Bay Garden Club member Isabel Lillie and the Whitefish Bay women who founded Riveredge Nature Center . The goal is to support the creation of future environmental stewards, conservationists, sustainability professionals and scientists dedicated to the preservation of our planet’s resources.

This years recipient Dominic was described as a leader in class, consistently making connections with concepts he learned in earlier courses such as biology and chemistry, as well as connections to history and economics he learned in our social studies courses. We wish him well in his studies at the University of Wisconsin! Go Badgers !
