Dar's Note -

My Friends at Redeemer - I am a history buff.  I love to hear stories from our members about the happenings of Redeemer from years ago.  Every time I walk past the 1890 cornerstone in our narthex, I think about the many parishioners who have passed through both the old church and now the church we...

Our grounds are looking so great! The west wall is finished and the North parking lot is really sprucing up! Come and see for yourself this Sunday! We would love to welcome you to our 10 AM service. Pastor Jon Jacobs is our guest preacher and he will be focusing on the love Jesus asks us to extend to our neighbors. After the service, Olga Neighborhood Wellness Services sponsored meal will be served and all are welcome to stay and enjoy!

We at Redeemer and Olga truly love our neighbors!

Today's Pet Blessing was a real joy. Many brought pets and pictures of pets as Pastor Heidi blessed each one. What a beautiful morning to be outside praising God and blessing our animal friends.

Also note, Donnie, our council president, surveyed the work that is being done to stop the leak on the west wall. It is one big hole right now but so good to have the work getting done.

Council's Note -

Dear Redeemer community, As the newest Redeemer council member, it is my turn to send the monthly council note. For those who don’t know me, I’m the grandma of the beautiful 6-year-old that you often see doing what she can to make sure you know she is there! She, her Godmother Ericka Jones, and ...

So much is happening on our North Parking Lot. Today, much of the landscaping was done along with planting the Linden Tree on the island. Many of you may remember Tom Sobbotke, who attended Redeemer before his passing in 2022. A small box of his ashes are planted next to the tree. Kathy, his widow, has done this at several places that were important to Tom. Such a great tribute. Pastor Lisa was there to honor Kathy and Tom's wishes.

Pastors Note -

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name.   Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven… We say those words every week in worship, and other times throughout the week as well (hopefully!). Sometimes it can feel rote- like we just say the words without thinking about them. ...
