BIG News!

CodeCrew and our partners have been awarded $4 MILLION to bring tech training and jobs to communities along Interstates 20 and 55, from Jackson, Mississippi to Memphis.

With support from the U.S. Department of Labor, Future 20-55 will provide hands-on tech training, certifications, and employer connections, placing 500+ people in tech jobs over the next three years.

We’re proud to lead this effort alongside fellow STEM and tech nonprofits The Bean Path STEM NOLA The Hidden Genius Project, and Ed Farm, with support from education, workforce, and employer partners across the region.

We have so many reasons to be proud of our CEO and co-founder, Meka Egwuekwe, and today we get to add one more!

Meka received The Catalyst Award at today's inaugural DelTech Innovation Honors, presented by Epicenter Memphis as part of DelTech Conference 2026.

The Honors celebrate the people and organizations driving innovation across the Delta and beyond, and The Catalyst Award recognizes a champion of the ecosystem who opens doors, builds bridges, and makes others’ success possible. We can’t think of anyone more deserving.

Congratulations, Meka!

We are thrilled and deeply grateful to receive the Regional Economic Development Agency of the Year Award from the Economic Development Growth Engine: EDGE .

Thank you, Dr. Joann Massey and the entire EDGE team, for this incredible honor.

This award celebrates the work we love most: expanding access to technology, developing talent, and creating pathways to economic opportunity across our region.

We share this win with our amazing team, our driven student learners, and the employers and partners who invest alongside us every day. Thank you for believing in our mission. We are celebrating today and more inspired than ever for what comes next!

Proud moment for our team today at the 2nd Annual “Next in Tech” Conference on the campus of LeMoyne-Owen College (LOC).

Our CEO, Meka Egwuekwe, participated in a panel discussion on the “Future of Work,” while our Code School Program Manager, ToNaya Gulley Pye, led an engaging workshop on “Tech Careers Beyond Coding.”

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the LOC community and share insights on where tech careers are headed.
