If members and social media visitors choose to engage with the content posted to our pages, we expect them to uphold our open motto, “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest.” We’ll hold all those who post accountable to our commitment to build confidence in others and provide a safe and respectful forum. Guidelines:
•Treat and communicate with others in a courteous and respectful way.
•Be tolerant towards other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align.
•Do not make personal attacks on other community members or those who work for and lead our organization.
•Do not make defamatory remarks or false statements against others. The following will not be tolerated on Kappa Delta Sorority’s pages or official groups:
•Language that is offensive, obscene, vulgar, disrespectful or directly attacks another person.
•Explicit or implicit threats.
•Hateful, aggressive, abusive, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate words and content.
•Bullying or harassment.
•The spreading of harmful information or misinformation, whether intentional or unintentional.
•Disparaging remarks against a specific member of Kappa Delta or a KD staff member as outlined in our Member Handbook. Any comment or post containing content that does not adhere to our guidelines will be deleted and anyone who violates these guidelines three times will be removed from the page. We reserve the right to update or modify these guidelines at any time.
