A note from Dee Anne:
Be a WILLful Man! WILL is one of the things I’m proudest of working on. It’s had profound impact and will for years to come. I’m retiring in March 2027, and I hope you’ll continue to support the women and girls that you love on their journey to greatness.

As the daughter of a dad who had only girls, I’m so grateful he taught us all we could do whatever we wanted and be whoever we wanted. I lost my dad a very long time ago and today I’m remembering all the great things he managed to instill in me.

We appreciate your support to do the same for the women and girls in your lives. There’s a link so you can be a WILLful man! Thank you!

Wow thanks so much for your support of women and girls in our community! Today is the last day for me to appeal to you for our WILL program. WILL lifts women and girls to their own next best level by investing in their education, transportation, health or lifting them from toxic stress. This past year, we’ve helped women get their CNAs and start work within a week! We’ve supported women through peer mentoring so they can help people by using their own lived experience for good! We’ve bought tires so women can get their kids to school and themselves to work. These efforts change not only the women lives, but their families, their neighborhoods, and our community. As I enter the last few months of my professional career here at United Way, WILL is one of the things I’m proudest of working on. It’s had profound impact and will for years to come. I’m retiring in March 2027, and I hope you’ll continue to support the women and girls that you love on their journey to greatness. đź’™ Feature Friday: United Way of Jackson County's VITA/FSA program

United Way of Jackson County helps individuals and families file their taxes for free through its VITA/FSA program, making a meaningful difference in families' financial stability.

With 28 dedicated volunteers, the organization offers year-round tax preparation in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language, helping make these essential services more accessible.

These services also help families claim valuable tax credits and keep more of the money they're eligible to receive.

Unfortunately, funding challenges mean the organization will have to reduce service hours, cut appointments, and, ultimately discontinue the FSA program.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a more secure financial future. Help United Way of Jackson County continue making tax preparation accessible to its community.
