We are part of La Clinica and its learning and support service, The Learning Well. What We Do
WinterSpring creates a safe and confidential environment for sharing, learning, and healing through grief. Through shared stories, connection to other grievers, and tools for healthy grieving, we can all find healing for our losses. Our team offers compassionate phone support, assessment, group grief sup
port, resources, and referrals using the companioning model of grief support developed by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. WinterSpring also offers grief education for organizations and individuals interested in creating understanding about and support for grief. Call our program staff for support today: 541-552-0620
All WinterSpring grief support groups are provided free of charge. WinterSpring provides individual support and peer-to-peer support groups. We do not offer therapy or professional counseling, therefore insurance policies do not cover our services. We provide facilitated peer-to-peer support groups for adults and facilitated groups for teens and children. We also offer information and training on the process and impact of grief and loss on individuals and families through our volunteer training and our outreach programs. Just as loved ones are celebrated and acknowledged in a funeral service, WinterSpring also offers people the opportunity to honor a loved one by having a name engraved in a stone at our Memorial Grove Wall of Remembrance in the Donahue-Fronmayer Park in Medford. Every year on Memorial Day weekend, we have a ceremony to honor the new stone engravings and those from past years. Rituals like this help people to cope long after the death when the ache still lives in their hearts. We work to collaborate with as many related groups as possible to spread our compassionate work into the community. Since 2022, WinterSpring has been part of La Clinica and its learning and support service, The Learning Well.
