Donate here💕: https://www.rachelsgift.org/givinghope At Rachel’s Gift Inc. we partner with local hospitals to assist parents through the initial phase of infant loss through a base of caring and knowledgeable volunteers. We provide grief assistance for the families as well as a training program for nursing professionals and care givers on companioning patients through infant loss. Our ultimate goa

l is to provide a healthy environment to begin the grieving process to eliminate long term psychological damage to individuals and their families experiencing infant loss while at the same time providing lifetime keepsakes of their child. These keepsakes will be a lifetime reminder and a physical connection to the child that was only in their arms a matter of minutes or hours. On December 5, 2006, a precious baby girl named Rachel was seven weeks away from her entry into this world when her family was in a tragic car wreck. Mother and child were flown to Grady Medical Center in Atlanta; however, a couple of hours later Rachel lost her life. The next day she was stillborn. From the lonely depths of grief the family went through in the next hours, days, and weeks, Rachel’s Gift, Inc.

✨We would like to recognize and celebrate one of our incredible volunteers, Erma Warren-Johnson, whose dedication has been a true blessing to Rachel's Gift.✨

Month after month, Erma shows up to help in our office, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. This year, she went above and beyond, stepping in to assist while a staff member was on maternity leave. She showed up weekly to ensure our work continued without interruption. Erma is so sweet and has a servant's heart. We are deeply grateful for her and all she does to support our mission. T

Thank you for your unwavering dedication, Erma! 💕

Grief is a complex emotion that can be challenging to navigate, particularly for those who have lost someone they love. Memories can aid in the grieving process, providing comfort and a connection to the person who has passed away.

Studies have shown that reminiscing about happy memories can help reduce anxiety and depression in those who are grieving. By reliving positive experiences with their loved one, individuals can feel a sense of closeness and connection, even in their absence.

Memories also help to create a sense of continuity, allowing individuals to maintain a connection with their loved ones and keep their memory alive.

Join us for one of our FREE virtual support groups as we discuss ways to work through your grief. We would love to have you join us on your road to healing.

We are in desperate need of the handmade SIZE-SMALL diapers for our families. We know these are more tedious to make than our other items, but they are such a blessing to families who deliver their babies earlier than 24 weeks and don't have any items that fit their baby.

If you are able, we would be so grateful for your time and donation. 🫶

Click the link below for specific guidelines and directions on how to make these items. This link also contains a video explanation if you are willing to learn!https://www.rachelsgift.org/_files/ugd/e001b1_c995b17dea1449e4ae9ecd4ebfb96eb4.pdf

Sometimes the biggest victories in grief are not even seen by others.

Grief changes everything. It can drain your energy, cloud your thoughts, and make even the simplest things overwhelming. Remember that healing isn't measured by how quickly you move forward. It's measured by one small step at a time.

Be gentle with yourself and celebrate every tiny milestone. They are often the foundation of the bigger ones to come.
