Our children have two sources of education, home and school. If home fails, then the school system will fail. Do not think for once that your children's teacher is responsible for educating YOUR child. We must be accountable for each step we take with our kids. Stop saying that a high paid athlete or a singer is a role model to your child. The role model to your child should be us, the parents. We must set the example from the time they are born. We must give them time, love, teaching, coaching, and yes also discipline. Our children are a reflection of us. As greed and power have continued to increase; love, respect, discipline have continued to decrease. Let's all of us look at the mirror, and let's realize what's at stake here, it's our children. More adults need to take responsibility for the development of their kids, do not put it on your kids teacher. The teacher at school has a part but not the part of raising your children to be respectful, to have good manners, to live in peace and harmony. All that should come from home, from a loving family. We still have time to correct the violence, the sense of entitlement, the greed and the disrespect. Start at home with your kids, share the positives with your entire family and friends. Be a United front of love and support. May God blesses us all, and may God bless our country. We need to find a middle ground because it has become red vs blue, guns vs no guns, black vs white, American vs Mexican, Christian vs Muslim, etc. We are all human beings. I love you all.
