We’re still smiling as we look back at Taste of Henry 2026, presented by Absolute Best Air ! ❤️

Enjoy just a few of the moments that made this year’s event so special! From incredible food and entertainment to friends, families, businesses and community partners coming together — it was truly a night to remember.

To everyone who bought a ticket, sponsored, served food, volunteered, donated, shared a post or simply showed up to support us — THANK YOU! Your support helps A Friend’s House continue providing a safe place, resources and opportunities for youth in crisis.

Once again, Eggroll Daddy showed up and SHOWED OUT! 🔥

Rolling in with their brand-new Mac Daddy truck, they served up those fresh, crispy eggrolls we all know and love and impressed our judges enough to bring home the 2026 Judges’ Choice trophy!

Linda, Jerry, and their team consistently go above and beyond for our community, always serving incredible food with a smile and showing up with a heart for others.

This award is voted on by the people and recognizes the best first-time participant at Taste of Henry!

And let’s just say… It’sAuight BBQ was WAY more than “auight.” 😂🔥

They showed up with the cutest vintage Beetle smoker, brought the patriotic spirit, served up some incredible BBQ, and absolutely stole the hearts of our attendees. The people voted, and It’sAuight BBQ is officially our Taste of Henry 2026 Benefiting A Friend's House Rookie of the Year! 🏆

It’s not just a drink, Lady Moss Boss has built an entire wellness brand! And judging by the votes, Henry County was absolutely loving drinks that somehow taste better than juice and are good for you. 💚🙌🏽

This award is especially sweet because Ms. Yolanda has faithfully supported Taste of Henry and A Friend’s House for at least 18 years. She didn’t show up expecting an award. She shows up year after year simply because she has a heart for our kids and our community, never expecting anything in return.

But this year, the people have spoken! 🏆

Poolie’s was serving up fall-off-the-bone tender ribs, wings, and plenty of smiles at Taste of Henry 2026 Benefiting A Friend's House, and the community clearly loved every bite! 🏆

We have loved Poolie’s since day one, and one of our favorite parts of Taste of Henry is getting to watch our participants grow right alongside our community. From a food truck to a full-service restaurant, what a journey!

We hope you’ll stop by and support them at their new location on Hwy 42 in McDonough.

🇺🇸 PATRIOT AWARD: Thompson Market & Rose Creek Sourdough Co.

With Taste of Henry being held on September 11, we felt it was only fitting to recognize the booth that brought a little extra red, white, and blue spirit to the night. ❤️🤍💙

Thompson’s Market and Rose Creek Farm served up the ultimate Southern classic with tomato sandwiches on fresh sourdough bread and a pickle bar and took home our 2026 Patriot Award!

And this one is extra special. Monterey Thompson, owner of Thompson’s Market, has participated in Taste of Henry for all 23 years. Twenty-three years of showing up, supporting our mission, and championing A Friend’s House and our kids. 💙🫶

They joined us at Taste of Henry, sampled all the delicious food, and got to see firsthand just how much this community loves and supports them. ♥️
