Time to head home.

As the Hartselle team lined up to get their tickets, I snapped one last picture. They’re heroes of the faith—but they’d probably say they’re just doing what they’re supposed to do.

This past week, they sacrificed so much sweat, sleep, and a great deal of energy, and they did it all with joy.

What an incredible team, and such faithful Christians. It was truly a joy to work with them, and I’m grateful I got to serve alongside them.

Goodbye for now, until we meet again. And if we don’t see each other again here, we will see each other in heaven.

Today we concluded all the work that we set to do months ago. Dozens on hours of preparation, planning, prayers sent to God, and more have come to an end.

Looking back, our mission was very successful. We helped around 550 people with medicines, glasses, and planted Gospel seeds in their hearts.

Every single member of the team from El Salvador and from Alabama worked hard, and always with a great disposition, and all was done to the glory of God.

As we said our final goodbyes, there were tears, hugs, exchange of gifts, and I heard many, utter the words, "If I don't see you again here, I'll see you in heaven". Such is the hope of the Christian, and such is the deep love we have for one another. I want to see you in heaven, is another way to say "I love you."

Tomorrow, we get to sleep in a little bit, and relax for a few hours before we fly back home and be reunited with our families that we have missed greatly.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our supporters, and all those who have prayed for us and checked on us.

We will go home a little burnt and a little dehydrated, but, we go back home with our hearts full of joy and wondering when we can come back.

Until then, we will keep working and sharing the Gospel in our communities, and telling others about Jesus.

What an incredible day we had. We helped 67 people with medicines and 71 people with glasses. We can't stop expressing our thanks to all our supporters and people who donated to make this trip possible.

Our team is in good spirits, and I know everyone is excited to keep going. Our Salvadorian brethren keep working so hard too and their excitement is contagious.

In a few day we have shared laughs, hugs, long hours of work, and created deep bonds with total strangers that we don't ever want to leave.

How do you explain mission work to those who have never done it? It's exhausting, but so rewarding, so much that you can't wait to get up and do it all over again. It's exciting, but so humbling as you see how so many people sacrifice so much for the lost to receive the Gospel. Mission work hurts because the thought of leaving those whom were learned to love makes us sad. But we look forward to that one day when we will all be together and never have to leave.

Tomorrow is our last day of work and there are some challenges ahead, but we're going to do all we can to share Jesus, and help those in need around us. Keep praying for all involved, and that God may be glorified always!

PS. A big shout-out to brother Jonathan for preaching his full sermon in Spanish! He did such a great job!

We had another great day today. From the moment we get to the San Martin church of Christ building we got the ground running, carrying boxes of medicines and setting things up for our medical campaign.
The patients came early and in no time, we were able to get things moving.
The brethren here in El Salvador work tirelessly, and sacrifice so much of their time and energy for the Lord. They all wear many hats and move like a well-oiled machine, and our group has been able to match their speed.
We have been going into the busy community of San Martin everyday and inviting people to come and get the help they need. More than 100 people have heard the Gospel preached, and now over 200 contacts have been made for future Bible studies, and visits.
We helped a little over 60 people with medicines and over 45 people with much needed glasses.
The church here rejoices with all the work being done and all we want to do is to give God the glory!
Tomorrow is another busy day, but we can't wait to start working again. Please keep everyone involved in your prayers as we try to bring people closer to God and give them they physical help they need as well.

What a fun and busy day we had. The day began early as we made our way to San Martin through the heavy traffic of San Salvador. Upon arrival, we hit the ground running setting up tables, chairs, getting medicines ready, and finding our places. The people came in slowly, but the slow pace didn't last long. We decided to go through the neighborhood to pass out flyers inviting people to come and get medical help and to receive free glasses. We had many Bible studies, and we heard a powerful lesson on the light by brother Jonathan Jett.
We helped 57 patients in our medical campaign and we helped over 40 people with our glasses giveaway. I believe we helped a little over 100 people in both campaigns and had multiple Bible studies.
The Hartselle team loves to work and they don't mind being exhausted. We have had so much fun talking to people, laughing, and learning together, and it's always so awesome to see brothers and sisters in Christ separated by land, language, and cultures, coming together and using the language of love and faith to communicate. God is so good!

Please keep all involved in your prayers. Great things are happening here!

What a great day we had today. We had an early breakfast and headed to the San Martin church of Christ for worship. Brother Matt Steele taught class and I translated, brother Mark Reynolds led singing in English for our American group, and brother Jonathan Jett preached a sermon and I translated. We had a delicious meal and sat to talk with the great brethren here in San Martin and then we had a marriage seminar where I preached two lessons. We had 3 different congregations coming together for the seminar. We talked more about logistics for our Gospel, medical and glasses giveaway campaign, and headed to get some dinner before arriving at the hotel. Once as the hotel we had one more meeting to talk about roles and other things.

We're so ready to hit the ground running tomorrow and have many opportunities for evangelism and to provide help to those in the area. Please keep praying for all involved that our campaign will be successful and that God may be glorified!

What a great and busy day we had. We ate breakfast and headed to the pharmacy to get the medicines needed for our medical mission. Then we went to The San Martin church of Christ building where we will have our campaign. We met with the students, teachers and the directors of the El Salvador School of Preaching, and started planning what our week would look like and we assigned roles. There will be over 23 congregations represented in this Gospel, medical, and glasses giveaway campaign and we hope to make many contacts for evangelism in the area. We finished the night hearing the news of a sister who put on Christ in baptism this evening. To God be the glory! As we reflect on the day, I see that our team is eager to work and everyone has a great disposition. We're so thankful for all our supporters and all the prayers for this campaign. Now, to get ready for bed and be ready to worship God tomorrow.

Could you help us have a successful campaign in El Salvador?
March 20-28 Lord willing, we will fly to El Salvador and work together with the El Salvador School of Preaching and the San Martin church of Christ.

We plan on having a Gospel, Medical, and Glasses giveaway campaign and we hope to reach as many people in the community with the Gospel and help them with their physical needs.

The total cost of the medicines is $11,300 and we would appreciate all the help to cover this cost.

I know the church in El Salvador will appreciate your help so much, and we will too.
