Grateful for Fareway Stores for their commitment to green energy. They built a new store that has solar on it, but before demoting their old store, they offered us the opportunity to retrieve the panels!

These panels which are still good, will be able to be repurposed to provide solar for folks who otherwise couldn’t afford a brand new system.

We are happy to be able to reuse these panels.

Thank You! Such an amazing response from so many people. The new fridge is installed; we feel so blessed and supported that so many people came to our aid so quickly—THANKS!

Didn’t have a chance to donate yet? Don’t feel left out; the GoFundMe is still live (https://gofund.me/3826b66dc). You can donate to help us fill the fridge with fresh food for next week when we welcome Rockhurst High School for a service trip.

Come and see the new fridge in action on Tuesday night for community night! (RSVP here: https://tinyurl.com/5p4fvtu7)

Did you know there are two questions which effect housing on the upcoming ballot in KCMO August 4th?

Jerusalem Farm has used the Housing Trust Fund as an essential tool to rehab abandoned homes for our Northeast Land Trust and also the Central City Economic Development (CCED) fund to complete essential home repairs for homeowners.

We believe that housing is essential and should be prioritized in the Cities budget.
