Harmony Project KC

Harmony Project KC HPKC, flagship program of the Northeast Community Center, brings children together through music! 🎶 We aim to build responsible, productive and caring citizens.

Harmony Project is a research-based, multi-year mentoring program that uses music as a means of positive development and social inclusion. We commit to our students for their entire childhood (K-12), provided they maintain good attendance and remain enrolled in school.

What does it take to build a career in music?

Ensemble Iberica's Emerging Artists Collaborative is helping answer that question by providing talented young musicians with professional performance experience, mentorship, immersive training, career readiness, and financial literacy skills.

Participants work alongside professional musicians, perform in live concerts and recording projects, explore musical traditions from around the world, and gain practical knowledge about navigating the music industry as a working artist.

We're excited to see Harmony Project KC represented in this inaugural program by alumni John David Crow and Benjamin Tovar, as well as current student Aidan Bledsoe.

Programs like this help bridge the gap between music education and professional opportunities, giving young artists the experience, confidence, and tools they need to pursue their goals both on and off the stage.
