Twenty years ago, Artistic Director Todd Bolender passed.🕊️🤍

An "icon of dance history" — Todd was a choreographer, teacher, director, and dancer. He was a protégé of George Balanchine, and in his later years, preserved Balanchine's work and coached dancers in the roles he created.

According to KCUR's 2006 reporting, former Executive Director Jeff Bentley described Bolender as the North Star for the company. "He set the direction, he gave up the compass and the compass was about taste...excellence and the pursuit of perfection."

We remember Todd today and every day as we continue to foster dance excellence at our home, the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity.

Oz isn't the whole story.

Meet more of the dancers bringing this season to life, on and off the yellow brick road. Proudly brought to you by presenting sponsor Seville Home.

✨Sponsor Spotlight: Seville Home — As presenting sponsor of The Wizard of Oz, Seville Home's design aesthetic came to life through a custom on-site photoshoot and exclusive marketing materials developed together.
