A parent’s love is the foundation of every great leader. ❤️

In the Order of DeMolay, Filial Love is our first cardinal virtue because we know that character begins at home. And Parents’ Day is our official opportunity to honor those who have always protected us.

🎉 Goal Reached! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of DeMolays, Advisors, Alumni, and supporters from around the world, the International DeMolay Congress has officially surpassed its $10,000 fundraising goal for youth mental health through the JED Foundation.

This achievement belongs to every person who donated, shared the message, and helped champion this important cause. Together, we've shown what can happen when our fraternity unites behind a mission greater than ourselves.

But we're not done yet.

Mental health remains one of the most important challenges facing young people today, and every additional dollar helps expand the impact of this incredible work. While we've reached our goal, the opportunity to make a difference continues.

Everyone had a great day at the Detroit Masonic Temple, with representatives from the Grand Lodge of Michigan, including the Most Worshipful Grand Master, William Sauget; the Deputy Grand Master; the Grand Junior Warden; the Grand Senior Deacon; and a Grand Steward, among other Michigan Masonic leaders.

The Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council, Al McKay; the Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery, Adam Wygant; and Grand Officers for the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Grand Chapter RAM were present.

The Initiatory Degree was performed by the State Officers, while the DeMolay Degree drama section was performed by an all-state cast of Sr. DeMolays from the past, using the original 1926 script with both a prologue (the author’s name long-lost) and an epilogue written by John Walsteadt.

Many notable DeMolays from the past participated in the Degree. Sr. DeMolays and friends from the ‘50s through the present enjoyed an evening with friends from the past. All Degree work was held at the Detroit Masonic Temple in the Commandery Asylum.

A great banquet was held for all in the Crystal Ballroom, and Sr. DeMolay alumni, together with friends, enjoyed an evening in the Acacia Room.

Guests from DeMolay International, including those from as far away as Florida, Illinois, and Canada, as well as the Fort Wayne, Indiana Chapter, attended the investiture.

A new Chapter, the Southwest Gold Coast Chapter from Southwest Michigan, initiated five members at the celebration.

The International DeMolay Congress Service Committee is calling on every chapter to step up!

We’re challenging each chapter to give just $20 in support of youth mental health through the JED Foundation. While $20 may seem small, together those contributions can create something much bigger as we work toward our $10,000 goal.

This is about more than a donation. It’s about DeMolays across the world coming together to support a cause that matters and proving the power of collective impact.

The first light we kindle is hers. ❤️In DeMolay, Filial Love isn’t just our first virtue; it’s the foundation of everything we build as leaders. Before we learned to lead, we were guided by a love that knows no bounds and a strength that shapes our character every day.

Today, we celebrate our first mentors, our greatest supporters, and the heart of our homes. Thank you for teaching us that the greatest power a leader can have is a grateful heart.

THE FACES OF EXCELLENCE: Announcing our Regional DeMolay Representatives! 🛡️✨

The results are in! We are incredibly proud to introduce the regional winners of the DeMolay Representative competition.

Each of our regional representatives will receive a $300 check as a reward for their merit and hard work.

But the journey to the top is just beginning...The ultimate title of International DeMolay Representative will be announced live on stage at our International Session.

The grand winner will take home an additional $1,000 prize! 🏛️🌎

This program is made possible through the visionary support and generous donation of the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction. Thank you for investing in the future of our youth leaders.
