What an incredibly beautiful gift and improvement to the Second Mile Preschool! Thank you so much SILK for sharing your time and talents with us, these are amazing!

The ladies of the SILK ministry have made all of the curtains throughout the building, but they outdid themselves with this latest project! ❤️

When you pulled into the parking lot, you used to see creepy, boarded-up windows along the side of the building. They only led to storage rooms, but it definitely wasn’t the most welcoming sight!🪟😱

The SILK ladies came up with the most perfect solution. They had every child in the building stamp a square using animal stencils, then quilted all those precious squares together to create the most joyful window coverings! 🐘🦒🦁

This project was a labor of love, and we can never thank these ladies enough for the time, talent, and heart they pour into making our space so special! 💕

Special thanks to our new friends i3Cares and our Terry Heights and Hillandale neighbor LaJoy who introduced us to the i3 team! They presented our Parent Initiative Program with a generous donation yesterday and they are volunteering at some of our November Parent Parties focusing on STEM! We are so grateful for our growing community of supporters! You guys are awesome!
Would you like to introduce your business to the work Second Mile is doing in our community? Send us a message we would love to make that happen!
